Hula at work

I did a post last year on the artist Hula (Sean Yoro). The art festival Pow!Wow! just posted a video that includes an interview and clips of Hula doing one of his massive portraits. It's always cool to see an artist at work. This festival looks pretty awesome too. As does Hawaii. Obviously.

Summer camp vibes strong, we joined photographer Ja Tecson as he documented the process behind muralist Sean "Hula" Yoro. From brushstrokes to backstrokes, there may have been no Eddie, but the pair were certainly making waves. Once a year, amid the constant ebb and flow of the Pacific, the International art community trickles into Honolulu for POW!
